![]() The combination of these two features allows the clamp to sit straighter on the seam. An angled wall with a nose permits the S-5-N to engage the triangle type profiles during the installation process-there is no longer a need to hold the clamp in place while setscrews are tensioned. ![]() The clamp boasts a wider throat that accommodates most nail strip profiles, minimizing the need to field crimp. S-5-N and S-5-N Mini clamps were designed with patented S-5!® zero‑penetration technology for application on the popular 1" nail strip metal roof profiles: Taylor Metals' Easy Lock™, ASC Building Products' Skyline Roofing®, McElroy Metals' Meridian, New Tech Machinery's FF100, and roofing types with similar profiles. Will not overheat roofing materials or ruin plastic or vinyl rain gutters. If there are no gutters, use the serpentine method and our heated drip edge or hang loops off roof edge. Generally, use one run of heating cable in the gutter. Be sure that the heating cable extends all the way into the gutters, meeting the run in the gutter to form a continuous path. Keep the roof cavity open and the rib will help protect the cable. ![]() Metal roofs are susceptible to damaging snow slides, we recommend a single pass up the rib and cross the same rib to return to the gutter section below. The objective of a snowmelt system is to ensure the water is drained off and not allowed to freeze at the roof edge forming a dam. When the water runs to the roof edge it freezes, starting an “ice dam” that continues to grow and trap more water, leading to leakage problems. Water will flow as long as the roof surface stays above freezing. Even on metal roofs the sun and building heat combine to melt accumulated snow at the roof/snow interface. ![]()

![]() "In some sense, Bach and the Beatles are really exploiting the same geometrical features. "One of the really exciting things about this research is that it allows us to see commonalities among a much wider range of musicians," Tymoczko said. McCartney's pieces make use of a smaller number of motions in the geometrical spaces, corresponding to his more traditional approach to harmony, while Lennon makes use of a much wider set of options, reflecting his roots in rock, Tymoczko said. When they first realized that the shape of two-note chords is a Möbius strip, a fundamental mathematical form discovered in the 19 th century, the researchers were "amazed," Quinn said. "These spaces give us a much better and comprehensive picture of the space of all possible chords." "You can use these geometrical spaces to provide ways of visualizing musical pieces," Tymoczko told LiveScience. Any piece of music can be mapped in these spaces. ![]() ![]() The space of four-note chords is what mathematicians would call a "cone over the real projective plane," which resembles a pyramid in our 3-D universe. The team found that the shape of possibilities using three-note chords is a three-dimensional ice cream cone, where types of chords, such as major chords and minor chords, are unique points on the cone. For music made of chords containing two notes, all musical possibilities take the shape of a Möbius strip, which basically looks like a twisted rubber band (this was first described by Tymoczko in a 2006 Science paper). The team designed a geometrical technique for mapping out music in coordinate space. ![]() Clifton Callender of Florida State University, Ian Quinn of Yale University and Dmitri Tymoczko of Princeton University outlined their "geometrical music theory" in the April 18 issue of the journal Science. ![]() ![]() HP PHOTOSMART D110 SERIES MANUALReading both manual and troubleshooting comments good to know, but not helpful. HP PHOTOSMART D110 SERIES DRIVERSI have tried many methods to correct my HP D110a wireless IP address: antivirus and firewall both disabled to no effect router and laptop show correct IP address, and USB connection to printer shows correct IP address, but Wireless Network Test continues to show wrong IP address laptop, router and printer cycled off/on multiple times to no effect uninstalled/reinstalled HP software and drivers to no effect Print and Scan Doctor sees correct IP address upon USB connection, but upon USB disconnection (USB to Wireless setup connection) only sees and connects to printer using wrong IP address online troubleshooters result in identical results as Print and Scan Doctor Solution Center cannot identify connection problem Setup states printer requires further setup, but always states further setup required uninstalled printer and HP software through Add/Delete Programs with no different result un-/re-plugged printer when printer turned off and when turned on to no different result or IP correction no method to force printer to reacquire router IP address nor reset IP address through any on-printer Tools or troubleshooting blue wireless connection LED on Wireless button continues to flash meaning incomplete or no connection printer Wireless Connection Wizard completes stating printer successfully connected, but Blue LED continues to flash with no complete wireless connection "USB to Wireless" setup always fails to connect/complete Need USB program to reset IP I am at a loss to correct the IP address. I have tried connecting to both of the router's channels, 2.4 and 5 (it takes several retries for it to find the 5 channel, even though it cannot connect at this frequency), but always try to ultimately reconnect to the 2.4. As I understand it, when the printer is unplugged/replugged it is supposed to automatically obtain an IP address from the router to which I am trying to connect replacing the previous if it has changed, but it never changes. Nine troubleshooter programs so far state there is a problem but none offer correction or a method to correct it. I find no method so far to directly access the IP address to change it back to its original proper IP address to my router. HP PHOTOSMART D110 SERIES FULLAll other devices previously connected wirelessly to the router have not changed and maintain full connectivity, except to the printer. ![]() I read where I can force its IP address to change by connecting to it directly by USB, but I lost that page/procedure and cannot find it again. I have reentered router information, and reset printer to factory defaults many times now, but nothing changes. I always turn off antivirus before any procedure to reconnect. One type of test report states it is connected with no problems, while others including through printer controls/print queue/printer manager/Control Panel printer management state it is cot connected or not properly connected/installed. It can see my router, and connects just enough to state it is connected and installed but does not have "full functionality", when actually it has none. Uninstalling, reinstalling, cycling off and on of both printer and router, un- and re- plugging AC power, as exactly per procedures, changes nothing, the same incorrect IP address persists. The new IP address is known to appear when there are problems, and begins .XX. There was no event or change of anything that might have initiated this change. The USB connection states the printer is installed properly and all works, but the wireless connection has the continued problems. All transceiver tests of the printer are good, both channels, no problems. ![]() I must take my laptop to it and connect by USB to print, but none of the other devices in the house (computers, phones) can print either directly by wireless nor through the wireless router, and so far none have attempted to be connected by USB except my laptop. About two weeks ago, my HP Photosmart D110a printer suddenly changed its IP address, so it no longer connects to my wireless router. ![]() |
